The Office are receiving a lot of last minute calls from parents just before the end of the day with plan changes and we have to hunt down children to pass these on. We would really appreciate families confirming with their children their after school plan before school each morning.

Teachers do not always check their pigeon holes, emails etc for messages. Some classes are not always in their classroom but in the pool, fields and library etc.

2.30pm onwards is a busy time for the office as we process end of day and many parents come in to deal with bits whilst waiting for pick up. We are often alone in the office and unable to leave to get messages to multiple children around the school particularly if we have a child in sick bay.

We are also having a lot of children coming in to use the phone to check what the plan is... are they on the bus, where are they meeting, I've forgotten my togs...etc

Of course we understand EMERGENCIES / EXTRAORDINARY CIRCUMSTANCES occur and we will do our best to assist in these situations.

If your stuck in traffic on SH2 so are many of our school parents. Please have a discussion over the next couple of days with your children and form a plan as to where to wait if you are running slightly late.
