Last week 78 Jiddles children went to Papamoa for a three day camp!

We had an amazing time laughing, learning, playing games, skipping and enjoying each others’ company. We went swimming and hydrosliding at Baywave, explored the pa site at the top of Papamoa Hill Park, went climbing at Rocktopia, learned heaps more about bees and honey at Comvita, walked around Mauao , investigated the rock pools and then finished off with a swim at Pilot Bay. The teachers were really proud of the students’ behaviour, they were a credit to themselves and to their parents! Thank you so much to the camp parents who accompanied us. You were all so hardworking and this made our camp run very smoothly. Very special thanks to Kristy Hunter and Tracy Kenny who kept us very well fed so that we had energy to do all these things!
