Wild About NZ has had its final term at Omokoroa No.1 School and it's been a fun one. We started off exploring bugs and trees at school with some scavenger hunts. Next we went to Te Puna Quarry Park to check out all the colours nature had on offer and saw 3 Kereru. Finally we did a stream study at Puketoki Reserve and got up close to 2 eels in the stream as well as discovered Puketoki stream is a very healthy stream for aquatic life. This is my last year doing Wild About NZ as my family is moving to Nelson but I'm nature exploration will continue at school.
