Junior News
We have been busy in the Juniors!
Room 15 have been watching their seeds in their seed houses grow. They have been able to see their seed grow its roots, and sprout!
Room 6 did a cool density experiment. They learnt that if an object is heavy and compact it has a high density. If it is light and takes up lots of space, it is less dense. They tested dense items in different liquids to see what would happen. The raisins danced in soda, as the bubbles acted as buoyancy aids and helped them float.Room 7 learnt how to finger knit last week. They picked it up so quickly and have created some cool knitted creations. Room 8 made a worm jar with different layers of dirt, sand, stones and topped it with some old leaves and fruit. We are watching how the worms dig tunnels in the dirt to help plants grow easier!
A few people from Room 9 and 8 made some signs for our garden so we know what is growing in there. We hammered the signs onto wood and placed them in the garden.
