The four junior classes have settled back into term 2 well.

We have a few new children in room 6 and 7.

Our learning focus or topic we have started is ‘Sound and Hearing’. This last week the children have also been busy doing various Mother’s Day activities. In a couple of weeks, we are planning a trip to the Quarry Park where we will explore the musical instruments in one section of the park.

A large group of the junior children attend the Kapa Haka group led by Whaea Jose and particularly enjoy the action songs.

We start PMP again this week, but could do with some more parent/grandparent helpers. Please let Sue know if you can help.

We are pleased to have Andrea Parker and Jenna Logan join our team as Learning Assistants. They are working with individuals and small groups in the school.
