This is a great learning opportunity for the students and involves all the children having a list of 20, 25, 40 or 50 ‘science flavoured’ inquiry questions. 

We expect the students to ‘research’ the questions/answers with their parents and families. We hope children’s knowledge of science will improve as a result of this learning experience.

TIME FRAME:

Week 3 

Tues 18 May - Sponsorship Card and SCIENCE-ATHON questions sent home

Week 4, 5, 6

Gather sponsors and research answers to the questions

Week 6 

9th or 10th June -Testing of SCIENCE-ATHON questions (orally with juniors)

Week 6 

Results sent home on the sponsor card.

Donations and sponsorship money sent to the office or deposited in

02 0466 0242503 00. Please put the child's name and Science as reference or send money to the office.

Week 8 

25 June - All money raised sent to Simone, Ange or Rae in the office

Certificates/prizes awarded
