Winter sickness, toilet accidents and wet days.

Winter Illness

It is that time of year where winter sickness has increased. PLEASE  keep your children home if they are sick.

Please if in doubt... keep them home as if you tell them to go to sick bay if they feel unwell later, we ALWAYS have them come in!

The office is extremly busy at this time of year and with only 1 sickbay bed we literally have them stacked up! We have sent 6 children home unwell this morning.

Of course we realise that sometimes things change in the course of the day and we will always will do our best to look after children as required.

Toilet Accidents

We are finding we have had a increase of junior children having toilet accidents. Please let us know if there is something we need to be aware of.

If your child is prone to accidents can you have a change of clothes and underwear in their bag with plastic bag to put soiled items in.

On that note, we have sent home most of our sickbay clothes and underwear. If you have these can they please be returned to the office (if anyone has any outgrown new underwear they no longer need we would appreciate these for sickbay).

Wet Days

We are getting a lot of children in on wet days that they have been playing in puddles and getting wet. While this is all great fun, again we have given out most of our sick bay spare clothes! If you have these at home can they please be returned to the school office and a spare set popped into school bags.
