Ice Skating Friday 26 November

Omokoroa No.1 School —

Our Year 1-5 classes are looking forward to their ‘ice skating’ session at the Omokoroa Sports Pavilion on Friday.

Just a few reminders ...

Ice Skate Tours provide instructors. Students are taught the basics of balance, coordination and ice skating. Ice Skate Tours provide a mobile artificial ice rink that looks like natural ice, but is slightly easier for kids and beginners to skate on and is surrounded by inflatable boarding.

Our students have been charged $10.00 and this appears on their school account.

Children will need to be wearing their usual school footwear. They recommend long socks, long pants and a named, filled, drink bottle. The company will supply helmets, skates and gloves.

A number of parents have offered to provide transport for each of the classes at the specified times, and each classroom teacher will organise this. Car seats/booster seats are required for the younger children.

We will be allowing 15 minutes to get to the ice skating at the Omokoroa Sports Pavilion from our school. Thank you.
