This term our focus is on oral language.

Like the older pupils of the school Jiddles pupils are working hard on their speeches in preparation for class presentations in Week 5. In Room 11 we have also been learning our Mihi/Pepeha 'off by heart' and then videoing each other. If ever we need to say them for visitors or special occasions we will be confident to stand up to answer 'No hea koe?' (Where are you from?). The students have also been having fun getting involved in presenting plays to the class. Here is another opportunity to practise our oral language and get 'warmed up' for speeches!
