Principals' Messsage
Important information and updates from our Principal.
Kia ora koutou,
This week the Playscape builders start on our Outdoor Learning Environment space. They will be onsite for the next two/three weeks. This new space is designed to be an interactive space for all learners to play, learn, and explore.
The new junior deck was constructed last week. This week it will have stairs and safety rails added. Special thanks to Zac Buckeridge for all of his hard work to complete the building projects.
Congratulations to our Year 3/5 and 5/6 Rippa Rugby Teams who are competed in the Rippa World Cup at Omokoroa Sports Field today. They both finished 3rd in their grades.
Cross Country season is here and it is exciting to have these running events back on the calendar. This Wednesday our Year 4-8 students will be competing in our school Cross Country event. This event is used for students to achieve individual goals and also to select our top 7-10 students in each year group to go on and compete at the inter-school events in the coming weeks.
Congratulations to all of the students who were selected as main characters in our school 'The Beetles' production. Class routine practices begin in Week 9 of this term. This year there will be two evening shows at Bethlehem College Performing Arts Centre. Tickets will go on sale near the end of this term.
Next Monday is the BBB Golf Tournament fundraiser. Thank you to all of the parents and companies that have supported this event and the fundraising team for all of their work.
Nga mihi nui,
Craig Pentecost
