In August 2020 we will once again host Japanese Students at Omokoroa #1 School.

We require 20 - 25 homestay families for their upcoming visit.

Would your family be interested in having a student in your home?

The dates are the 13th -19th of August.

We will not be having a Chinese group this year due to the timing clash with our pre booked Japanese group. Therefore the Japanese group will be the only opportunity to host for 2020 if you are interested.

Last year an email was sent out to get an indication of interested students to participate in a potential 2021 visit to Japan for Omokoroa # 1 Year 8s.

It is an opportunity for our interested students to have formed some relationships with our Japanese group thus making our Omokoroa # 1 students' transition in Japan easier.

We know that the Corona Virus is of concern for some families but be assured we will follow the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Health's recommendations and instructions as these are released to us.

If you are interested in hosting could you please let us know ASAP. The Japanese Students are waiting to book soon so we need clarification of host numbers for them.
