We’ve had a great first week in the junior classes. Sue Morgan French has the Year 1’s in room 7, Sharon Herder has Year 1-2 children in room 9 and John Barthow works in room 8 with Year 2’s, and leads the Junior team. Becks Walls teaches in room 7 on Wednesdays. Cushla Nolan works as the learning assistant with the juniors and also manages the ESOL students. We have an exciting term planned, including extra swim school lessons taken by Bay Swim on several Mondays. We look forward to Small Sticks Hockey on Friday. Our Junior camp at Waitawheta Camp near WAIHI is on 2-3 April. This is always an exciting learning experience for everyone, including all our parent/grandparent helpers. This year all the junior teachers are using Seesaw to share the learning of the students with their families. John, Sue, Sharon, Becks and Cushla.
