The Health and Physical Education learning area in the New Zealand Curriculum guides the plans made by our school to implement health programmes for students that have a focus on the well-being of the students themselves, of other people, and of society. This in turn connects with our school values of being respectful, responsible, active learners.

This consultation has a focus on the following key areas related to the health aspect of the curriculum - mental health; sexuality education; food and nutrition; body care and physical safety.
