I’d love to invite the people of Ōmokoroa to Meet Your Conservation Neighbours, an evening to bring together the incredible volunteers already working hard across our forests and reserves, alongside those who are curious about getting involved.
Date: Thursday, March 20
Time: 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM
Location: Whakamārama Hall
Bring a plate - Tea, coffee, and light snacks provided
This is an opportunity to connect with fellow volunteers, share insights from the work you do, and hear about projects happening across our wider region. With conservation efforts stretching from the forest to the sea, this is a chance to strengthen ties between rural and urban groups, swap ideas, and look at ways we can support each other.
For those who may be new to conservation, it’s also a relaxed way to learn more—no pressure, just great conversations and an open invitation to be part of something bigger.
I’d love to see you there! Feel free to bring a friend.
