Today Opihi College sadly farewelled our Principal Mr Tony Robson, as he departs to follow a new career in the private sector. Mr Robson started at Opihi College in November 2019 as Deputy Principal. He then moved into being Principal in 2021. During his time here, Mr Robson has taught Physical Education, changed the Year 9 & 10 curriculum, coached multiple basketball teams, mentored our Student Leaders and generally been there for our students.
We will miss his laughter, his competitive nature (especially in the Staff vs Student challenges) and his willingness to drop everything for our students. Good luck for the future Mr Robson. You will be missed.
