Opihi College held their annual Athletics Day during February. The students enjoyed a great day of competition, and appreciated the many supporters who came along to cheer them on, Sport Canterbury for their assistance with competitions, and Opihi College staff for their organisation of the event.
A highlight of the day's competitions was the Under 16 Boys High Jump, where Monty Kopua equalled the Opihi College record of 1.67m. This record was set in 2020 by Ryan Sherriff-Wardell. Well done Monty!
