Thrilling Triumphs at Our School Athletics Day!

The field was buzzing with excitement as students put on their colourful house clothing, ready to showcase their talent and spirit. Laughter and chatter filled the air as friends gathered, encouraging one another in the lead up to the house events.

The whistle blew, the races began! Every jump, throw, and sprint celebrated the thrill of friendly competition and the joy of coming together as a community - cheered on by the staff and families watching.

From the youngest participants to the seasoned athletes, everyone gave their best on the day. It’s not just about winning; it’s about the joy of participation, the thrill of trying something new, and the pride in personal achievements.

Thankyou to the organisers, Miss Haines and Mrs McNoe, and all of the staff and student helpers that made this day possible.  

Snacks and treats kept coming readily under the steady eye of Mr. Mills and helpers. Our student helpers gave wonderful support to some of our younger ākonga, getting them to push themselves in the shotput, javelin and discus.

With brilliant weather, awesome participation and an overall happy and friendly atmosphere, we're looking forward to Athletics Day 2025!
