RUGBY

Monty and Lachlan played all season for Aoraki combined; and Tayne and George played for Geraldine. Once the rugby season had finished all players then return to their "Club of Origin" and play against other clubs. This is a great way for our boys to finish the season while playing for Temuka.

A message from the players:

We would like to say thank you to Lynette for taking photos at every game of the Club of Origin under 16.5 Temuka side. We would also like to say thank you to Mikey Perfect for coaching us over the 5 week season, and a big thank you to the managers Blue Rooney, Bruce McNaught and Adrian Cater. Without you guys we wouldn't be able to play! With that being said cheers to the boys from Opihi College that played and to Regan who helped out when we didn't have enough players.

Over the weekend Blake from Mackenzie College and myself were the mascots for the South Canterbury Vs Wairarapa Bush Bunnings Heartland Championship rugby game. Blake and I had to dress up as Tim ’a’ Ru and go around the Pleasant Point oval cheering, hi-fiving people, taking photos and showing off our amazing dance moves.
