The CLINK Project 3: Collaborism in Auckland engaged visitors, adults and children alike.

The CLINK Project team comprised artists from the Dunedin School of Art and Hungry Creek Art and Craft School in Auckland. Led by Otago Polytechnic lecturers Johanna Zellmer and Andrew Last, the artists provided various opportunities for members of the public to interact; talking with the artists, touching and trying on jewellery, making jewellery themselves, and drawing on the wall at Te Uru Waitakere Contemporary Gallery on 24 and 25 August 2016.

This is the third CLINK collaboration and in each case public interaction has been key. Each CLINK team has designed and delivered unique opportunities to enhance the value for the public.

When asked about the value of the experience for them, visitors commented on how good it was to be able to play and touch, being allowed to be a child again. One woman talked about the jewellery firing the imagination.
