Visit this articleThis month I am pleased to announce a major research project we have underway. We know that it's not enough for employees to have knowledge and skills specific to the disciplines which they have studied here; they also need "soft" transferable skills, for example excellent communication and teamwork capabilities. So we are interviewing a selection of employers from the industries and professions who take on graduates from our 13 Bachelor's degree programmes, to find out what their priorities are for graduate capabilities and use that data to ensure our graduates have the opportunity to develop and evidence those capabilities for employers.
Enjoy reading this month's selection of research stories.
