Kia ora, my name is Andrew.

I was born in Auckland and have grown up just outside of Pukekohe, on a small farm in Patumahoe. I currently live in Pukekohe with my wife Megan and our cat and dog, Nala and Tilly. We are excited to welcome our first child into the world at the end of July 2021.

I have joined OJC this year after teaching at a number of schools around South Auckland. I began teaching Year 7 and 8’s at Mangere East Primary School, before moving back to Pukekohe to teach Year 5’s at Valley School and Year 4/5‘s at Mauku School.

Along my teaching journey I’ve found a passion for using technology to integrate learning and enhance the experience for students. I also have a passion for sport, so coaching teams and helping individuals improve their skills and mindset is something I enjoy doing.

The OJC philosophy aligns with my own personal educational philosophy, so I cherish everyday I am here at OJC.
