I am Jennifer. I was educated and trained in Singapore to teach the primary and secondary school curriculum. My learning journey at the National University of Singapore (major in English linguistics and literature, minor in Mathematics), and at the National Institute of Education (teacher training) has equipped me well for a teaching vocation. I am thankful.

I am passionate about the education journey of young people. I often think of the vast knowledge, the rich skills, and values that my students would come to own one day and of which they’d be grateful for. I imagine every learning moment is developing dispositions that will take them far and wide.

OJC is seriously different from other schools. I am drawn to the passionate statement made about the guarantee of an innovative and personalised learning. I believe the school will have good use of my one-of-a-kind combination of passion, knowledge, and experience. My specialist teaching skills in Literacy and Numeracy will be a solid start. My passion, however, is the most valuable; it has always kept me learning how to be a better coach for my students’ sake. I will bring that with me to OJC.
