Kia ora everyone!My name is Lesley, and I was born and bred in New Zealand.

I grew up in the North Island - born in Palmerston North, and then lived in Morrinsville, Paraparaumu, and England before returning to Palmerston North for University.

My husband Mike is also a teacher at OJC, and we came here after spending 5 years in international schools in Ningbo, China.

I have been teaching since 2009, starting my career as a PE and Science teacher at Putaruru College in the South Waikato. From there I was in China teaching the IB curriculum at international schools.

OJC is an incredible place to work, and I love the challenge of being in an innovative environment like OJC, and having the chance to rethink how we do education.

Outside of work, I like to spend my time playing netball, running, tramping and camping, and travelling.
