This term we’ve had the pleasure of bringing onboard four awe-inspiring Learning Coaches to help deepen our team strengths here at OJC.

Lesley Mansell, Simeet Syed, Mike Mansell and Nick Pattison have all joined the OJC staff this term, and they’ve already started making marked contributions to our team.  Lesley and Mike hail from Tauranga and their teaching and coaching experience is vast.  Most recently the dynamic pair have been based in Shanghai, China, but previously cut their teeth down in Putaruru in the Waikato.  As a secondary school science specialist, Lesley brings some much welcome focus to the science elements of our AIP program while Mike's skills in sport and events organization have been second to none.  Nick Pattison is also a STEM  specialist with experience connecting industry experts and real-world problem solving to keen kids.  Nick joins our team from Kauri Flats School, having previously worked at Rongomai Primary.   Simeet joins us from Mt Roskill Primary and has real creative talent and flair.  Her empathy and compassion with our learners is inspiring to see and her passion for developing our learners as sophisticated communicators is a great  addition to our skill set.

With such awesome new staff becoming part of the fold at OJC, we’re feeling great about our growing school roll and indeed our prospects for the future.
