OJC learners Mervlyn Prakash and Madison Shaw talk us through the start of the winter Netball season.

This year’s netball season has started off great. With all 3 amazing teams eager to win their grade, we were all excited to kick off the season with a win. Our trainings are every Tuesday and we all make a commitment to attend and to upskill ourselves in order to retain and to also practise the skills needed to get better each week. We play at the Howick Pakuranga Netball Centre every Wednesday to showcase to the other schools what we’ve got! 

Highlights from this season so far has been, our OJC A team moving up a grade, as well as our Year 9&10 team and year 7&8 team earning their first win. We can't wait to get back on the court next term and hopefully take the win once again.
