I am a professional learner.

My name is Feleti Strickson-Pua. I am a professional learner. Part of my learning is as a Learning Designer at OJC which allows me to learn from others and apply what I notice. 

My family links are truly an Aotearoa migrant story (I come from Chinese, English, & Samoan ancestry). I grew up in central Auckland, son of a community Social Worker and a Teacher for English second-language speakers. 

My passion is community development and empowering families. I have experience leading innovative, collaborative learning teams within modern learning environments and am currently still learning to develop integrated learning and assessment. 

I love creating music and have an obsession with basketball. I am a father of three and often use my children to trial out ideas in new ways of learning. I love OJC because of its passion for iteration and self growth. I only wish it was around many moons ago when I was a child.
