Te Tuhi Gallery Workshop

As part of Term 1’s Transdisciplinary Authentic Inquiry Project (TAIP), a group of learners in Aumoana Kainga participated in a workshop at the Te Tuhi Arts Centre facilitated by Salome Tanuvasa.

Sculpture was the focus and the group learned how to create a piece of sculpture using clay, making a silicon mould and filling it with plaster. They thoroughly enjoyed the practical nature of the workshop and expressing their creativity. Collaboration with Te Tuhi was initiated by Sylvie Huang towards the end of last year and marks the growing and productive relationship with our school. We can look forward to further projects in the future.
