Whanau Ora: K-Pop Dancing Round 1

In Kpop this term learners focused on gaining confidence to dance in front of our whole school. Each learner created a dance and had 6 weeks to complete the dance, touch it up and perform for the whole school.

We learnt: How to have a positive mindset when dancing and performing, how to be active in different forms of dance, and have fun while learning.

OJC has a something called “Hauora” which means Holistic well being. Learners have covered all parts of their Hauora by interacting and socialising with other members of the Whanau Ora, Maintaining good physical health by moving their bodies, having a good mental state of mind while dancing and spiritually connecting to their inner dancer and performer.
