Summerset By The Park Village
As part of their inquiry, Shivi Shankar, Veen Mangat and Vrishti Mani were interested in creating a relationship with a group of residents from the Village.
In partnership with its Manager Terry Moore, the learners have been meeting three residents on a weekly basis with conversations focused on particular themes eg, growing up, school, family life, technology. The girls have gathered many insights not only into the lives of the residents but also into their own, realising that an age gap does not necessarily translate into a gap of ideas and feelings. Shivi, Veen and Vrishti have enjoyed the company and the stories the residents have shared with them; they are looking forward to continuing this relationship next term. It is hoped that this initial inquiry will lead to further projects between OJC and Summerset in the future.
