Cross Campus Skateboarding Group Rides Again

One of the OJC extra-curricular groups on offer is an after-school skateboarding group held on the courts on a Wednesday.

It’s been a fun and wild experience while teaching and showing the little kids what to do and helping them. Our group is made out of little kids and big kids that are working together and helping each other on how to skateboard/penny board.

Some mini-games that we did during skateboarding was: limbo skate, limbo skate is where you need to stay low and try to go under the limbo pole as if it was like a real limbo, another game would be the mini races they were so much fun, you had to race around the hole court and there were prizes for 1st 2nd 3rd.

My opinion for skateboarding would be that before I did skateboarding I never knew how to get on a skateboard or anything about skateboarding but one of my best friends, Bayaan convinced me to join so I did, ever since that day I have enjoyed skateboarding and it has changed my perspective of skateboarding.
