BACK TO SCHOOL
A big welcome back to school for the intermediate students in Ngaru class. I swear the senior students have all got taller in the 3 weeks they were away.
It was great to have our intermediate students back at school. It was interesting to hear the students insights into their level of engagement in home learning, what progress they'd made on their William Pike Passion Projects and what they had spent time doing with whanau. I would like to acknowledge the time and support the students had from parents, siblings, grandparents and extended whanau to engage in home learning.
While time was spent on reflection they also had time to reacquaint with one another through games. Here is a snippet of the 'ice-breaker' they played yesterday.
