Whenever a new toy or fad arrives at school we often question, "What is the educational value?"

The newest toy we have been watching take off again are Bey-blades. For those of us with children who are now in their 20's who else remembers when they first arrived last century! Like most things they go around and come back again!

If you've never heard about a Beyblade before,  Beyblades are colourful spinning tops that originated from a popular Japanese manga TV series. They were first released in 1999.

As the increased use of Beyblades is happening the question is,"Do they have any educational value?'
