My name is Blain Mann. I am a Year 13 student at Otago Boys’ High School currently on the Gateway programme.

I have enrolled in the programme to gather experience in the electrical trade. The program puts me out with an employer for 20 days, one day per week.  I have been placed with Otago Electrical Communications (OEC) and I have really enjoyed my time here so far. 

I think that the knowledge and skills you learn at Gateway are really helpful and worthwhile. This program gives you a real insight into working life.
