Marking by a panel of judges has been completed and the school has been advised that Hayden McAlister's project "Friendly Fire" won 6 awards.

The NZ Institute of Physics Award, NZ Institute of Chemistry Award, Cancer Society Award, Aurora Award for General Excellence in Energy Research, University of Otago Premier Award, and the Aurora Premier Award. 

An outstanding achievement from a student with a very bright future.  Well done Hayden.

Otago Boys' had several other excellent Year 11 projects entered and we look forward to the prize giving on Sunday afternoon to report back with results.
