This event was held at Teretonga Raceway on Wednesday 29th. We were represented by three riders; Ben Hogan in the U19 grade, with Louis Harris and Ronan Geraghty being in the U17 grade.

In perfect weather conditions, after the early fog had cleared, all three cyclists competed very well.

Ben was 4th in the Time trial and 5th in the Road Race, Louis enjoyed two 3rd placings (Time trial and Road Race) while Ronan finished strongly for 5th in the Road Race after his 8th in the Time Trial.

With Southland being regarded as something of a bastion of Schools cycling, the results achieved are of the highest quality and all three can be justifiably proud of their efforts – as should their schoolmates be proud of the way they represented them.
