Tuesday 5th February was our first Blues assembly for 2019, recognising Academic excellence and dedication.

Year 13 and Year 12 boys who attained 50 or more Excellence credits in their NCEA Level 1 or 2 studies in 2018 were acknowledged with an Academic Blue.

In addition students who attained 100% of their credits in all internal assessments and external exams were awarded a bronze or silver oak leaf badge, to symbolise the perseverance and dedication such a feat requires. The Centurion award was introduced in 2015 and promotes recognition of those who strive and battle to complete all their studies successfully, regardless of their level of success.
