Congratulations to the Grade 14 Hill City athletics team who won a silver medal in the 4 x 100m relay at the Colgate Games held recently.

The team consisted of OBHS students Jacob Waide, Luke Moffit and Ronan Melville along with Seb Ferro from John McGlashan College.

The Colgate Games are a South Island wide track and field club competition which this year was held in Christchurch. The boys had the opportunity to select their preferred events and compete in the relays.

Over the three day event the boys pushed themselves to record some excellent results and personal bests. Jacob notably winning a silver medal in the shot put.
