OBHS Parents Association Update

OBHS - PTA —

On behalf of the Otago Boys' High School Parents Association we would like to thank the school community for the fantastic effort everyone contributed to our cheese roll fundraiser. We were delighted to learn last night that we have raised just on $4000.

To everyone who collected orders and to all of you who gave up your time to help us make them, and what a fun, social time this was, a very big thank you!

We have been asked if we are going to repeat this fundraiser anytime soon as folk are running out of cheese rolls – and the answer is YES we are. So watch this space because in the next few weeks we will be sending out order forms so you can purchase these Dunedin famous cheese rolls again.

The Parents Association wishes all the students involved in the combined OGHS/OBHS production of ‘Popstars’ every success for next week and we were delighted to be able to contribute $500 towards the costs of lighting and sound equipment for this.

We are also busy organizing upcoming other fundraising events such as Andrew Newton the hypnotist whose tickets will be available within the next couple of weeks.  We will be offering an evening of fun at ‘Rockbourne’ in early September and will have a wonderful cookbook on offer to purchase with delicious baking recipes inside.
