Congratulations to Year 12 student Lochlan Webb who competed in the South Island Weightlifting Championships held in Nelson in the holidays.

Representing Otago Weightlifting, Lochlan won silver in the Under 61kg junior (Under 20) class, lifting 70kg in the Snatch and 84kg in the Clean and Jerk. He was also awarded a silver medal in the senior category.
