Last weekend saw 52 boys from OBHS compete in the Otago Secondary School Athletic Champsionships.

A successful weekend with 39 boys now qualifying for the Otago/Southland Secondary School Championships being held this weekend. (Boys must compete in this event in order to qualify for the South Island Champs).

Two stand-out performances were: 

Max Brown who qualified 1st or 2nd in his 4 events and also broke the Otago Under 15 Triple Jump record of 11.24m to set the new mark of 11.88m.

Nathan Hill who broke the Under 16 1500m record by over 10 seconds to record the new time of 4.07.63.
