As mentioned in an earlier newsletter this year, six of our Year 13 students have independently studied through Canterbury University's distance learning programme.

The final results from these courses have now been released, and our students performed at an extremely high level.

The three boys completing 'Advancing in Mathematical Science: Calculus and Linear Algebra,' Oliver Hobbs, Matt Begg, and James Hulyer, all received an A+ grade for this course, a very impressive result. This means when enrolling in an undergraduate degree at UC, they are all eligible for the AIMS scholarship worth $5,000.

Ben Turnbull completed an 'Introduction to Microeconomics' course and received an A+ grade.

Matthew Bolter earlier this year completed a philosophy course in 'Ethics, Politics, and Justice', earning an A grade. Bodhi Keiller completed two-semester courses in 'Writing for Academic Success' and 'Science: Good, Bad, and Bogus?' Bodhi received a B+ and is on track for an A grade respectively for his courses.

As a school, we are very proud of these boy's achievements.
