Miam!Miam! A delicious way to end the term in French!

Elaine Kelly —

Year 9 morning tea went down well this week with boys enjoying ham and cheese croissants, pain au chocolat and viennoiserie aux fruits all washed down with a very welcome chocolat chaud on this cold day!

This treat was to celebrate the end of term and all the hard work that boys have put in in recent assessments. With Term 4 almost upon us, the Languages Department is looking forward to welcoming back students from Term 1, 2 and 3 classes who wish to take extension classes in French, German and Te Reo Maori.

If you are thinking of taking a language in Year 10, then this option could be for you! The emphasis next term will be on building upon speaking and writing skills using a number of IT based tools, increasing learner agency by giving some choice over topics/project work and setting individual learning goals and study plans.
