Regional Culinary Challenge

Congratulations to Sam Gavin and Max Napier on winning the National Secondary Schools - Regional Culinary Challenge - Southland, Westcoast, and Otago.

They won gold with their Baked Beetroot Gnocchi entree. Sam and Max will compete together next week in the National Secondary Schools Culinary Challenge - NSSCC in Auckland at the Manukau Institute of Technology.

There will be 8 teams competing from across the country. They have to prepare and serve 4 servings of their winning entree and 4 servings of the main dish - which heroes Waitoa chicken and New Zealand fresh vegetables.
