We would like to wish OBHS old boy, Arch Jelley a very happy 100th birthday.

Arch Jelley (Albert Archibald Jelley) CNZM OBE will celebrate this milestone birthday on Saturday, 13 August.

Arch attended Otago Boys' High School from 1936 until 1940.

He is a world renowned athletics coach with his best known charge being John Walker. Arch was awarded an OBE for Services to Sport. He coached two NZ Olympic Games' teams and two NZ World Championship teams as well as a team for the Commonwealth Games.
