Concert Praised

My wife and I and another couple, along with a near-capacity audience, thoroughly enjoyed a wonderful performance of the musical Popstars on Saturday.  What a joy to see so many of Dunedin's youth from Otago Boys' HS and Otago Girls' HS produce such a professional, high-energy and at times breathtaking show.  This musical was the perfect vehicle for the huge cast who were so obviously in their element and having a ball.  This rubbed off on the audience who joined in the fun of the infectious Backstreet Boys songs.  Hearty congratulations to director Nick Tipa and all others in the production team.  This show would not be out of place on the professional stage at the Regent. Roll on next year's show.
