On Thursday afternoon Hoani Wipaki (Year 12) and Bailey Cavanagh-Welch (Year 13) competed in the annual Rotary Club Secondary Schools Speech Competition held at the Dunedin Railway Station.

Both boys spoke eloquently and passionately about wellbeing and racism, receiving highly commended awards for their efforts.
