Old boy, Rahan Ali (2010-2013), starred for the NZ Futsal team at the Oceania Futsal Tournament, played over the last week.

Better known by our boys as the School's Defensive Driving instructor, Rahan was a key figure in the tournament win. The only South Island representative in the squad, he scored a hat-trick in the final, a 6-2 win to New Zealand. He also won the golden boot award and player of the tournament!

Rahan, and his brother Kasam, were important players in their respective teams while playing at Otago Boys' High School.

In between tutoring our students, Rahan is targeting the Futsal World Cup qualifications next year. Congratulations Rahan.
