Every Friday for the majority of this year, I have been going out building with JJ Oskam LTD on a new house build.

I have helped install framing, cavity sliders, GIB, a shower seat, a soffit, internal insulation, Rondo ceiling structures, waterproof tape on the outside of windows, as well as many other tasks.

I have experienced digging trenches for footings on a kitchen and a living room extension project. This included demolishing a wall to attach the extension to the existing house and removing an existing window.

My Gateway experience with JJ Oskam has been enjoyable and I would like to thank them all for showing me what building is like as a career, while teaching me all sorts of tips and tricks.
