At the end of last term, 3 OBHS students, Brody Kearney, Josh Dickinson and Jayden Cron trialled and were selected to represent Dunedin in the U15 Thunder (Ice Hockey) team.

They worked very hard and dedicated a lot of time to training and games leading up to the national competition held during the holidays.

Over a four day weekend, the team played for the national title and not only got into the finals against Auckland, but managed to take silver only in the last 0.7 second of a very tense game.
