Hayden McAlister, Kelvin Weston, Andrew Medlicott and Bailey Cavanagh-Welch spent Tuesday competing in the National Finals of the Brain Bee. 

While they did not gain top place they certainly made the most of the learning for the day. Pictured here in the HUBS lab ( Human Body Systems) at Otago University, they are exploring the role of the nervous system in voluntary movement - apparently this was a "shocking" experience!!
